About us.

Since 1934, in the Czech road company we have associated experts from the ranks of engineers, technicians, students and workers dealing with road management. We create space for them for discussion and the application of knowledge in practice. Our other activities include organization of professional events culminating in an annual road conference. For talented students we organize a competition for the best dissertation and for extraordinary professional activities and merit we award the prize of prof. Špurka. Individual persons, teams or companies not only from the Czech Republic can voluntarily become a member of the Czech road company.

Bureau and Council

The Czech Road Society consists of the Bureau, Council and twelve professional sections. The CSS Council headed by Ing. Petr Mondschein is the highest executive body of the company. At least 15 Council members are elected during the Congress Congress at the annual CSS conference. Other members of its members are the chairmen of the professional work sections and with the voice of advisory also representatives of member companies. Among the sessions, it manages the activity of the company and is responsible for its activities. The structure of the Bureau consists of the chairman, vice -chairmen, scientific secretary, its members and secretary, who manages the CSS Secretariat.

Membership in the Czech Road Society includes over thirty individual members and two members with honorary membership. Collective members are the Road and Motorway Directorate, the KSÚS Vysočina and the KSÚS of the South Moravian Region.

Section

The Czech Road Society leads 12 professional sections, which are engaged in important aspects of road. Their task is to inform and promote requirements and in specific areas. Section management is held by experts on the issue and active members participate in activities.

History

The professional road company company was founded in 1934 under the name road company. After World War II, the company was incorporated into the Czech Union of Scientific and Technology (ČSVTS) and became independent in 1990. Today it is one of the other independent and independent associations of this Association. The CSS has been present since 1999. A minor change in the name of the Czech Road Society (in short of the CSS) underwent in 2015, when the company adopted new statutes in connection with the validity of the new Civil Act, according to which it was necessary to modify the official name to the Czech road company z.s. The last change was the modernization of the logo that the CSS has been using since 2023.
